Germanicos is the bespoke tailor of choice for thousands of people across Australia and the globe. With our network of experienced and knowledgeable tailors we can produce the perfect suit or shirt for you.

On your first consultation our tailor will spend about an hour with you. Within this consultation the tailor will ask a series of questions to ascertain the main reason as to why you are purchasing the suit or shirt. The tailor will then consider your body type and skin complexion and make some recommendations on fabric and styling.We will then proceed to the Germanicos four step process to generate your perfect suit or shirt:

Step 1:

Together we will go through the nearly 3,000 fabrics to choose several which you would like to put up for consideration (Normally about 5 – 20 different cloths). Once we have chosen fabrics for consideration the tailor will lay these out on the table for closer scrutiny later on. 

Step 2:

The master tailor will proceed to take about 25 exacting measurements from your body. He/she may take more if you have an obscure shape as we pride ourselves on the best possible fit for customers of all shapes and sizes. Whilst taking these measurements our master tailor will ask you a series of questions about the way you would like your suit or shirt to fit, according to your answers our master tailor will calculate the correct formula for your garments in his/her head.

Step 3:

Together with the tailor we will use an elimination process for the fabrics we have put up for consideration. One by one we will eliminate fabrics from our initial round and in the end will come up with the perfect fabric for you!

Step 4:

The master tailor will then proceed to the styling process. You will get to choose each and every component of the suit and design something unique for yourself. You get to choose the shape of your lapel & pockets, if you would like pleats, vents or cuffs, the colours of your linings and pipings etc etc. You will be shown pictures of each component and you will be able to choose from them.

At the end of the initial consultation you will feel confident that you have chosen the perfect suit or shirt which is going to fit like a glove. All you have to do is wait a little and you will see the compliments coming your way once you wear your new bespoke tailor made suit.
